Thyme honey is one of the best types of honey. It is known for its spicy, tart aroma and is not too sweet.

This makes it very suitable for salty meals, such as a marinade for meat, cheese, etc.

The essential oil from the plant, called “Thymol”, also finds its way into honey and has a good reputation in homeopathy and conventional medicine. It is known for its beneficial properties in respiratory diseases, bladder and bowel problems.
